Done for the Character of the Week activity on ConceptArt.org
The character was the Japenese Goddess of the Sun, Amaterasu, shown here emerging from her self imposed prison
to take a glance at her 'competition' in the mirror, the first time she has seen her own reflection. Angela Sasser's
stock reference photograph was a key starting point.
